Privacy policy

This policy covers inonda.co.uk and the roundtables, webinars and newsletters we run. It says what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do.

Who we are

Inonda Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 10574911. Registered office: Office 7, 35/37 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JN, United Kingdom. We decide how your data is used, which makes us the controller under UK GDPR.

Contact for anything in this policy: info@inonda.co.uk.

What we collect

When you register for a roundtable or event: your name, email, company, job title, the date you chose and anything you write about why you want to attend.

When you subscribe to a community or newsletter, apply to a programme or fill in a scorecard: the details that form asks for.

When you book a call: what you enter in the booking form, which Cal.com handles.

When you browse the site, and only if you accept cookies: Google Analytics records pages visited, device and browser type, rough location and how you got here, Claydar (run by Clay) works out which company a visit comes from, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag tells LinkedIn about the visit so we can measure our LinkedIn ads and show ads to people who have visited.

We also find business contact details (name, work email, job title, company) through business data providers and our own network, to invite people to events. If we contacted you that way, this policy covers that data too.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To run the event you registered for: confirm your seat, send the calendar invite and joining link, send reminders and the follow-up. Basis: to deliver what you asked for.
  • To share your details with an event's sponsor, where the event has one. Basis: your consent, given on the registration form.
  • To list your company publicly among those attending. Basis: your consent, given on the registration form.
  • To invite business contacts to future events and tell them about our services. Basis: legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time.
  • To understand how the site is used and which companies visit, and to measure and target our LinkedIn advertising. Basis: your consent, given on the cookie banner.

Sponsored events

Some roundtables have a sponsor, named on the event page. If you register for one, we pass your name, job title, company and email to that sponsor, and they may contact you in their own name. Once they have it, the sponsor decides how they use it under their own privacy policy, and we do not control that. If you would rather we did not pass your details on, email us before the event and we will keep you off the list.

Who else handles your data

We use these services to run the site and our events. Each one processes data for us under contract:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website
  • Airtable, where registrations and leads are stored
  • Close, our CRM
  • Slack, where our team is told about new registrations
  • Google (Workspace, Calendar and Analytics), for email, calendar invites and site analytics
  • Cal.com, for booking calls
  • Clay (Claydar), for identifying which companies visit the site
  • LinkedIn, for measuring and targeting our LinkedIn ads (LinkedIn also uses this data under its own privacy policy)
  • SmartLead and MasterInbox, for sending and replying to email
  • Fireflies, which records and transcribes calls if you join one

Some of these are based in the US. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the UK-US data bridge or an equivalent safeguard.

We never sell your data.

Cookies

Google Analytics, Claydar and the LinkedIn Insight Tag only load after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, none of them runs. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

We also keep your cookie choice in your browser, and the site keeps a note of how you arrived (landing page, referrer and campaign tags) for the length of your visit, so a form you send tells us where you came from. Neither is shared with anyone.

How long we keep it

Event registrations: 2 years after the event. Business contact data: until you opt out, or 2 years after we last had contact with you, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold on you
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • stop using it for marketing
  • stop using it where we rely on legitimate interests
  • withdraw your consent, for example to sponsor sharing

Email info@inonda.co.uk. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
